2015 APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!

The European AIDS Clinicial Society is now launching its new Medical Exchange Programme. The programme is project based and runs over a period of four to twelve months in a selected EACS clinical centre in Europe.

The course runs over three days and focuses on antiretroviral therapy and comprehensive care for people living with HIV/AIDS. The course is comprised of plenary sessions and interactive workshops, taught by a highly-experienced faculty.

Applicants should be fully-qualified medical doctors with a special interest in HIV and AIDS with at least two years’ experience in the field.

Venue: La Baume, Aix-en-Provence, France

Fees: 150 euros per course to cover registration, accommodation and meals.

Some scholarships are available.

The European Clinical Research Course (ECReCo) is a basic research course comprised of plenaries and workshops aiming at translating clinical observations into research questions and developing these questions into viable research projects.

The course is open to fully-qualified medical doctors with a special interest in HIV and AIDS, preferably with at least two years’ experience in the field.

Venue: La Baume, Aix-en-Provence, France

Fees: 150 euros per course to cover registration, accommodation and meals.

Some scholarships are available.

The European AIDS Clinical Society wishes to express dismay at the recent violent attack on Charlie Hebdo in Paris, and to extend our deepest sympathy to the victims’ families, friends, and colleagues.

It is a great pleasure to, on the brink of the New Year, welcome you on this newly featured EACS website.

A short look back to 2014 shows that we were again very active as a Society in 2014; highlights to mention are the two summer courses, the 12^th Advanced HIV Course and the 4^th European Clinical Research Course (ECReCO), which were very actively attended by participants from all over the world, with a distinguished faculty enthusiastically teaching both clinical and scientific aspects of HIV.
